The Keystone focuses on freshly made, high quality but unpretentious English food. Under the guidance of our head chef you will be expected to contribute towards menu development and must be willing to be involved in prep & cleaning. Experience of a busy pub environment and working with fresh seasonal ingredients would be an advantage, although for the right candidate who demonstrates bags of enthusiasm & ideas, full training can be given. You need to be able to keep a level head to cope with a variety of pressures at different times of service. To fit into our dedicated team, you must have a strong work ethic and be eager to develop your skills & techniques.
In return you can expect an honest, fast-paced environment with scope for you to be involved in all sections of the kitchen and across the business if you wish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in catering.
The job will involve split shifts and weekend work, although currently not weekend evenings.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
