OLIVIA What's a drunken man like, fool?
CLOWN Like a drowned man, a fool, and a madman: one draught above heat makes him a fool, the second mads him, and a third drowns him. (Twelfth Night)

From ale to wine, malmsey to mead, references to drinking and the effects of drunkeness are littered throughout Shakespeare's plays, whether directly relating to a drinking event or being used as metaphor to embelish a subject. Join us as we take a fun and fascinating look at the correlation between Shakespeare and the art of drinking.

dr sketchy

Dr Sketchy London returns to The Keystone for a 2nd night

At Dr. Sketchy we ask a simple question. Why can't life drawing be sexy? So we've scoured this great land to find beautiful burlesque performers, bizarre circus acts and rippling hunks. Then we let them loose on stage to release the artist in you! In between each round of sketching our larger-than-life models you get a chance to grab a drink, get comfortable and take in some of the finest burlesque, comedy and quirky cabaret performances on offer. It's what art classes would be if the class was unleashed in the Moulin Rouge with no teacher, no homework and no school tomorrow!
